How far along: 12 weeks, 5 days Size of baby: Size of a lime Maternity Clothes: The baby belly has begun to grow. Bought my first maternity clothes on my birthday, June 1st! Gender: Unknown at this point Movement: Although the baby is moving around in there, I still can't feel a thing. What I miss: My energy! Cravings: Mostly spaghetti and sweets! Symptoms: I'm still tired a lot but the grouchiness is going away. Still no morning sickness! Woo hoo!! Our second appointment was on June 6, 2011, the day after my older sister's birthday. Since today was the day we were going to have the first ultrasound, my husband and I decided that today was also the day we would tell the world about our little baby. To this point, we had really only told some family members and close friends. This appointment was much easier than the first one. The nurse squirted some warm liquid on my belly and began the ultrasound. What an amazing sight! We could see a lot of our baby's little features...
