...the baby bump that is! Question of the week: Is it ok for complete strangers to walk up to you and touch your baby bump? What about family members and friends? I have a serious issue with touching to begin with. The request is simple: Don't touch me! I don't like to be hugged. I don't like to be touched on the shoulder while you are talking to me. I especially don't like close talkers. I need my space! I need that space more now than ever. I absolutely DO NOT think that it is ok for ANYONE to touch the baby bump, especially without asking! The only person who gets a free pass to touch the bump at any time is my husband, and maybe my Mom. As far as strangers go, you don't just walk up to a complete stranger and touch their belly. I wouldn't even walk up to a stranger and ask to touch their belly. That's just weird and rude. Why would anyone do that? Why would you want to touch some random person's belly?
