Honestly, I don't even know what to blog about right now.

We have so many things going on and happening in the next few months but no real news we are able to share as of yet.

So what's been going on with us lately?

Well, I'm pregnant.  This been going much better since the second trimester hit.  I've been limiting my bumpdates to doctor's appointments because, let's face it, they can be quite repetitive.  The food is finally staying down and the belly is growing quite well.

The kids are sick again.  Hoping it kicks this weeks.  They haven't been too bad this time around, just some coughing and runny noses.  Bryan has been getting breathing treatments because we don't want to spend any time in the hospital.

Speaking of Bryan, I've been limiting his updates too but I think I may need to do one soon.  This kid is hilarious!  He talks like crazy and sings now and it's awesome.  He sings let it go a lot and for some reason my mom taught him to sing are you, are you coming to the tree.  Sorry mom but the Hanging Tree isn't exactly age appropriate.  He's a big tantrum thrower but he is also good at helping, apologizing and laughing like crazy.  He is also teething right now.  2 year molars coming in early.  Puffy gums and snotty noses.  It's been fun.

Ashlyn has been sassy as ever.  The attitude has exploded and boy has it been an adventure.  She talks back now, rolls her eyes, has perfected the talent of selective hearing.  But she is also very sweet and giving (when she wants to be) and really does a good job at helping with her brother.

She insists that she is getting a baby sister and I'm actually starting to believe her.  We keep trying to explain to her that she might be getting another brother and she just yells at us and says no, it's a sister.  I was thinking this one was a boy but I've been having the girl feeling and I've been having weird dreams that all say it's a girl so we shall see.

We weren't going to find out the gender but I think we are now.  May 4th.  That's the day.

My husband is on the Whole30 diet again and as of right now (day 28) he is down 19lbs.  Holy crap!  He loves this diet because he gets to eat tons of fruits and veggies, which he loves.  He hates this diet because he doesn't get to eat any artificial sugars (no cookies, cakes, alcohol), which he loves.

But 19lbs in less than a month?  I'd say that's worth it.  He plans to go another 30 days to see just how much he can lose with this.  Once he plateaus, I will probably make him try the Beachbody 21 Day Fix program.  I think that would be a great program for him.

Yes, I'm still a Beachbody coach.  I don't do much with it these days.  I've been so tired and I've been way too sick to workout.  But I'm hoping to get back to working out now that I feel better.  Shameless plug: Invest some of your tax return in yourself this year!  We have tons of awesome programs and everyone raves about Shakeology!

We hosted Easter dinner and that went well.  It was just my parents and nephew, my grandmother and my brother in law and sister in law.  We had way more food than we needed, as usual.  The kids had a ton of fun playing and they slept really well last night.  We didn't get any great pictures of the kids because they were pretty much always in motion but that's ok.  I hope you all had a great Easter!

I don't have time to blog much but I am on IG.  vmiller0918 if you're interested.

Linking up with Jenna's Journey  for the 3rd Annual Blog Commenting Challenge! Hi! I'm Vanessa! I live with my husband Bryan and my amazing 6 month old Ashlyn in Pennsylvania. I was born and raised here and love it very much! We have 2 pugs, Katie and Utley, one black lab, Camo and one cat, Joey. Our second cat, Kitty, is sadly recently deceased (on Father's Day). I work full time as a Marketing Analyst for a supply chain consulting firm. I don't even know what that means really! I have been here for 3 years and am thinking about a career change. SAHM is looking better and better. My husband owns his own landscaping business which has been both wonderful and horrible at the same time! My husband and I know each other for about 17 years now and we have been together for 12. We got married in September of 2010, just 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary! We got pregnant after only 2 months of trying and last December we were greeted by Ashlyn Marie Miller,...

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass...

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and ...
