So what if my little Chunk is six months old and he hardly eats any solids. With Ashlyn, I was strict on the solids: start cereal at 4 months and then follow with solid baby foods. By six months, she was eating a lot of solid baby foods and we were even moving onto the second stage baby foods. We didn't have a solid schedule yet but we were close. This time? Not even close! He was so early to open his mouth for a spoon but then we moved and I just got lazy and stopped feeding him the solids. I just didn't push it nearly as much as I did with Ashlyn. I do notice that I give him more adult solids than I did Ashlyn at this point. He has had mashed potatoes, ice cream, yogurt, bread, cake. Don't worry, I'm not giving him a lot at once but I am giving these things to him from time to time. I think I need to do some research on what foods he can and can't have. I don't give him any eggs, peanut butter, honey, etc. ...
