Our first photo shoot was with Carrie Nawarynski Photography. Carrie was referred to me by my cousin's fiance. Carrie is located closer to the Allentown area so when she suggested us having the pictures taken at a park near her home, we were happy to oblige. Any time out and away from home is a good time, even if it is only 45 minutes away.
We we went to Lock Ridge Furnace Park and if you Google that, you can find out where it is. The park was beautiful. It is the location of the Lock Ridge Iron Works, which closed in 1921. The stone structures that are still standing are amazing and are a perfect place for pictures. Once we were done with our pictures, we decided to walk through the park. Baby Girl wasn't crazy about it, but she managed.
If you look closely at the last picture, you will see a snake. I almost stepped on that thing but when I saw it, I screamed like a little girl and ran! Fortunately it was dead but Bryan had a good laugh.
The best part of the park? The field of Blue Bells. This is a Blue Bell...
It was pretty windy so we had to work around that but Baby Girl did a great job. She gave us about 45 minutes of happy time and then she was done! There are so many great pictures of her and I can't wait to get them printed! We will do another photo shoot in August when she is 8 months old. I can't wait to see all of the changes in her then!

There is literally a small field of these things in that park. They were almost done blooming and had been pretty trampled when we did our photos but they were still beautiful.
The photo shoot starts in the field of Blue Bells and then ends at the stone structures.
