Friday's Letters

I'm linking up with Adventures of Newlyweds for

Photobucket

Dear Baby Girl, I'm sorry that you are sick AGAIN.  Hopefully this rash you have will go away over the weekend and you will be good as new.  At least you get to stay home today.  Sorry I didn't get to stay home with you :(

Dear opportunity that was knocking on our door, you suck.

Dear Jeweler, would you call me already.  I want my bling back.

Dear girl in the downstairs office, I'm sorry that someone hit your car in our parking lot.  Maybe if you would park in the lot that you belong in your car wouldn't have been hit.  Still sucks and I know I'd be pissed if someone hit my Beamer.

Dear person who hit the car, you suck and you should be ashamed of yourself.  You could have at least left an insurance card.

Dear blog, I know I'm still neglecting you.  I'm sorry.

Dear weekend that I am trying to plan, you are getting on my nerves.  You are almost not worth all of the work and research and stress I have been putting into planning you.  Still haven't booked a hotel!

Dear everyone reading this, have a great weekend!

  1. I know how you feel about the weekends not being worth all the hassle sometimes. They seriously can be way more trouble than they are worth. I wish someone would plan all my vacations and weekends for me. YES PLEASE! Just found your blog and have loved getting to know you better. I'm excited to follow along!

    1. Thanks so much for following! I have followed you back. If it weren't for the fact that we haven't been away for almost 2 years, I would say forget it and just stay home!

Blog Commenting Challenge!

Linking up with Jenna's Journey  for the 3rd Annual Blog Commenting Challenge! Hi! I'm Vanessa! I live with my husband Bryan and my amazing 6 month old Ashlyn in Pennsylvania. I was born and raised here and love it very much! We have 2 pugs, Katie and Utley, one black lab, Camo and one cat, Joey. Our second cat, Kitty, is sadly recently deceased (on Father's Day). I work full time as a Marketing Analyst for a supply chain consulting firm. I don't even know what that means really! I have been here for 3 years and am thinking about a career change. SAHM is looking better and better. My husband owns his own landscaping business which has been both wonderful and horrible at the same time! My husband and I know each other for about 17 years now and we have been together for 12. We got married in September of 2010, just 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary! We got pregnant after only 2 months of trying and last December we were greeted by Ashlyn Marie Miller,...

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass...

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and ...
