So What Wednesday

One of my favorite people is bringing back one of my favorite blog posts!

Shannon at Life After I Dew is bringing back So What Wednesday.  I always loved posting my 'so what's' every Wednesday so I'm happy she's bringing this back!

So what if:

~We have been in our new house for almost two months and we still have projects that we need to finish.  I hate having dumb little lose ends but that's the way it goes, I guess.

~I hate having my hair up so I've had it down a lot lately and that annoys me too.  It's so long right now and I desperately need a hair cut but finding the time isn't exactly easy.

~I took the Love Language test for one of my Q&A posts and I got receiving gifts as my love language.  I know that seems kind of shallow but I do love me some romantic gifts.

~My husband is not romantic at all and, therefore, does not know how to speak my love language.

~I can't stand Halloween and I can't wait for the month to end just so it can be over.

~I haven't worked out or watched what I've been eating in I don't know how long.  I just have no motivation right now (and I have a good reason for it).  I haven't gained any weight so that's a plus.

~I'm watching Grey's Anatomy this season even though I swore I wouldn't after they killed McDreamy off last season.  I'm not really feeling the whole girl power vibe the show has this season but so far, it's a much better season than last season so I'll keep watching.

~I don't know how I feel about AHS this season.  I feel like the first three seasons were great but last season was boring and this season has just been gory and a lot more shocking than usual.  I really like Lady Gaga but it's just a little much this season.

What are you saying so what to?

Comments

  1. So glad your blogging more! I'm trying to blog more and now I just need to get back into reading/commenting. I lost track with Grey last season and haven't picked it back up. Sucks, I used to love that show.

Blog Commenting Challenge!

Linking up with Jenna's Journey  for the 3rd Annual Blog Commenting Challenge! Hi! I'm Vanessa! I live with my husband Bryan and my amazing 6 month old Ashlyn in Pennsylvania. I was born and raised here and love it very much! We have 2 pugs, Katie and Utley, one black lab, Camo and one cat, Joey. Our second cat, Kitty, is sadly recently deceased (on Father's Day). I work full time as a Marketing Analyst for a supply chain consulting firm. I don't even know what that means really! I have been here for 3 years and am thinking about a career change. SAHM is looking better and better. My husband owns his own landscaping business which has been both wonderful and horrible at the same time! My husband and I know each other for about 17 years now and we have been together for 12. We got married in September of 2010, just 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary! We got pregnant after only 2 months of trying and last December we were greeted by Ashlyn Marie Miller,...

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass...

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and ...
