So What Wednesday (or Thursday....again)

Check out Shannon at Life After I Dew for So What Wednesday.

So what if:

~I haven't blogged in like two weeks.  I just forgot.

~I slept until 10am almost every day of our vacation and took afternoon naps.  It was glorious.

~When we came home from vacation, we had no Internet.  They couldn't send a rep until today.  So I finally called and started a new service with a new company and canceled the old, crappy service.  So far so good.

~I'm kind of happy that we have a few cable channels again.  I'll be able to watch some of my favorite shows on time instead of waiting until the next day.

~We still haven't replaced our TV.  We are still watching the kid's playroom TV.

~My person cleaned my house while I was on vacation.  I can't tell you how awesome it was to come home to a clean house.

~Bryan's newest thing is to echo is words.  Give me my TRUCK, Truck, truck.  Not sure where he got it from but it's pretty funny.

~We just found out that someone very close to us is pregnant and I can't help but be completely terrified for her instead of excited.

~I'm so tired of the scale, I may just throw it out the window.  Baby boy is killing me in the weight department so far and I can't figure out why.  My diet isn't the greatest but it isn't the worst either.  I'm going to wind up 40lbs heavier with this big boy if he keeps growing like this.

~Even though I have so many fears about this third child, I can't wait to snuggle all his newborn cuteness.

~Aside from the little gifts I got the kids, I don't think we are really doing Valentine's Day this year.  It's not a big holiday for us plus our budget is crazy tight this year.

~My Person and I are already planning our birthday party in June.  Give me all the captain!

What are you saying so what to?

I work full time as a Marketing Analyst for a supply chain consulting firm. I don't even know what that means really! I have been here for 3 years and am thinking about a career change. SAHM is looking better and better. My husband owns his own landscaping business which has been both wonderful and horrible at the same time! My husband and I know each other for about 17 years now and we have been together for 12. We got married in September of 2010, just 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary! We got pregnant after only 2 months of trying and last December we were greeted by Ashlyn Marie Miller,...

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass...

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and ...
