Fab Fridays

Linking up with Between the Lines for
I know it might be a little strange to think of an office supply store as fabulous but Office Max really saved my sanity this week so they are SUPER FABULOUS!  I sent my Baby Girl's first birthday invitations to Staples to have them printed and they messed them up.  The second time, messed them up.  I really didn't want to have to pay to have them printed somewhere else but I didn't really have a choice.  Enter Office Max.  Not only did they print them correctly, they printed one and allowed me to visit the store to see the proof first.  And they offered to cut them for me.  Now that's what I call awesome.

I think it's completely fabulous that Thanksgiving is next week and I get a 4 day weekend next weekend. Something to be thankful for!

I think it's fabulous that Christmas is only 39 days away!  I can't wait to put my holiday decorations and Christmas tree up!  Now I just have to decide what colors I want to use for the tree this year.

I think the holiday outfits I picked for Baby Girl are seriously fabulous!  We have three Christmas dinners every year:  My Mom's side of the family is Christmas eve, my immediate family is Christmas day and my Dad's side of the family is usually around New Year's.

I am obsessed with Carters clothing and buy almost all of Baby Girl's clothes there.

I love these dresses and she can wear the cardigan with both!  So, one for one side of the family and the other the other side of the family.  Or I might simplify this year and just buy one and let her wear it to both dinners.  My preference is the pink plaid.

This will be what she wears on Christmas day.  I already have this outfit so it's perfect.  She certainly is the best gift we could have ever received so why not put a bow on her?!

These will be her Christmas Eve PJ's

I work full time as a Marketing Analyst for a supply chain consulting firm. I don't even know what that means really! I have been here for 3 years and am thinking about a career change. SAHM is looking better and better. My husband owns his own landscaping business which has been both wonderful and horrible at the same time! My husband and I know each other for about 17 years now and we have been together for 12. We got married in September of 2010, just 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary! We got pregnant after only 2 months of trying and last December we were greeted by Ashlyn Marie Miller,...

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass...

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and ...
