So What Wednesday

So What Wednesday
This week, I'm saying so what if...
  • We had such a busy weekend and I still don't feel like I've caught up on sleep.  Third trimester is really tiring!
  • Baby Girl was a dancing machine at the wedding we attended Saturday.  She loved the music and danced her little legs off!
  • We didn't get any family pictures at the wedding even though we were all dressed up.  I hate it when that happens.
  • Little Man had decided that he's not such a big fan of food lately.  I'm really sick of feeling nauseous and getting sick so much lately.
  • I am officially 8 months pregnant (as of July 1st) and can't wait to be ZERO months pregnant.  The mixture of heat and people telling me I look like I'm going to pop is wearing me thin.
  • July 12th is my official last day of work and I can't wait.
  • Daycare is closed Thursday and Friday this week but I still have to pay for a full week.  Um...why are you closed Friday?
  • I can't stand Justin Bieber.  He's a little brat and he is ridiculously annoying.
  • I'm in love with the maternity maxi I got at Target for the wedding.  Why didn't I try maxi dresses before?  Who cares if I'm short?  I was so comfortable!
  • I still don't let Baby Girl sleep with stuffed animals or anything in her crib besides her blanket.  It's a weird phobia of mine I guess.
  • Baby Girl woke up in the middle of the night Monday night so I let her sleep in bed with me.  Big mistake.  The kid is getting more and more restless as she gets older.

    1. Ha! We are opposite on the blanket/stuffed animal thing! I really want S to have a lovey so he can hopefully wean easier when the time comes. He throws all (three) of the stuffed animals out of his crib before he sleeps though. I am convinced that if he had a blanket he'd get trapped in it! Different strokes for different folks! :-)

Hope you start to feel better soon!

    2. I can't believe you are 8 months already!!! When is your due date? maxi dresses were my fave when I was preggy. Old navey had great ones. I hope you still find a little time for bloggy, or email time when baby comes.

oh and I know what it's liek to be that preggy in the summer. Last year I gave birth July 17th and 2 years before that it was August 6th! I am glad not to be preggy this year but now I have to do 2 birthday parties. Gah!

I work full time as a Marketing Analyst for a supply chain consulting firm. I don't even know what that means really! I have been here for 3 years and am thinking about a career change. SAHM is looking better and better. My husband owns his own landscaping business which has been both wonderful and horrible at the same time! My husband and I know each other for about 17 years now and we have been together for 12. We got married in September of 2010, just 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary! We got pregnant after only 2 months of trying and last December we were greeted by Ashlyn Marie Miller,...

    17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass...

    HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and ...
