So What Wednesday

Check out Shannon at Life After I Dew for So What Wednesday.

So what if:

~I went through a blog purge and deleted 200 blogs that either went private, got deleted, haven't posted in a few years or I just don't read anymore.  It took me 3 hours.  Social media can be such a waste of time.

~I changed our Christmas Eve box to the Christmas Eve Eve box.  We are never home on Christmas Eve because we have dinner with my Mom's side of the family so we don't actually get to enjoy anything in our box.  Not this year!  The kids will be able to put on their new matching PJs and watch the Christmas Thomas movie I got them.

~I'm a little nervous that the PJs in said Christmas Eve Eve box won't fit the kids.  I bought them last year after Christmas for like $3 each and they are both one size too small.  They look big so I'm hoping they will be ok.

~The kids are driving me insane lately.  Bryan is going through a very serious tantrum stage.  Ashlyn is going through a very serious question everything and give me attitude stage.  It's been a fun time at our house.

~I'm working on a 2015 recap and it's making me really sad.

~I wish I had cable just so I could watch Lip Sync Battle.  I've seen videos on YouTube and the show is hilarious.

~Even though I didn't watch this season at all (also on YouTube) I am glad that Jordan Smith won The Voice.  His version of Somebody to Love was impressive.

~I really hope Queen and Adam Lambert come to my town on tour next year.  Queen just happens to be my favorite band of all time so I would LOVE it!

~Ashlyn is obsessed with bread right now.  All she wants to eat all of the time is bread with butter.  She requests it at every meal.  I'm a big bread fan so I don't blame her.

~I feel so bad for my husband right now.  His family issues are really getting the best of him.  I wish there was something I could do to make him feel better.  Apparently my solution of punch them all in the face is not a viable one.

What are you saying so what to?

Blog Commenting Challenge!

Linking up with Jenna's Journey  for the 3rd Annual Blog Commenting Challenge! Hi! I'm Vanessa! I live with my husband Bryan and my amazing 6 month old Ashlyn in Pennsylvania. I was born and raised here and love it very much! We have 2 pugs, Katie and Utley, one black lab, Camo and one cat, Joey. Our second cat, Kitty, is sadly recently deceased (on Father's Day). I work full time as a Marketing Analyst for a supply chain consulting firm. I don't even know what that means really! I have been here for 3 years and am thinking about a career change. SAHM is looking better and better. My husband owns his own landscaping business which has been both wonderful and horrible at the same time! My husband and I know each other for about 17 years now and we have been together for 12. We got married in September of 2010, just 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary! We got pregnant after only 2 months of trying and last December we were greeted by Ashlyn Marie Miller,...

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass...

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and ...
