Dear Labor Day Weekend,  we have decided that we are going to spend you at Cape May this year.  This is the first time we have ever gone away for you and the first time we have been away at all in almost two years.  Let's rock this!

Dear weekend weather, you are supposed to be beautiful so please be just that.

Dear Baby Girl, you are about to experience your first trip to the beach!  It's ok if you don't like it (Mommy's not a huge fan either) but please try to refrain from throwing up, running a fever, developing a cold or an ear infection or catching any other illness.  We like you healthy.

Dear Puggers, Mommy and Daddy are leaving you with your Gran for the weekend.  We know that deep down inside she loves you and loves having you around even though she says otherwise.  Just be nice to her this weekend.

Dear Ryan & Amy, I get teary eyed whenever I read a post about how poor little Max keeps getting stuck with needles because I know what happens when my baby girl gets stuck with needles.  Know that my heart is with you and I hope that you can go home soon.

Dear Best Friend, don't forget....If this weekend I call you maybe, don't jump on it because all you will hear is the sound of one of our theme songs while I'm trying to tan my cheeks!

Dear Lisa, don't forget to send me random pictures of your weekend down south and I will try to remember to do the same.  I think this is going to be fun!  I may even post a blog with all of the random pictures after our weekend is over!

Dear blog, I know I'm still neglecting you. I'm sorry.

Dear everyone reading this, have a great Labor Day weekend!

Blog Commenting Challenge!

Linking up with Jenna's Journey  for the 3rd Annual Blog Commenting Challenge! Hi! I'm Vanessa! I live with my husband Bryan and my amazing 6 month old Ashlyn in Pennsylvania. I was born and raised here and love it very much! We have 2 pugs, Katie and Utley, one black lab, Camo and one cat, Joey. Our second cat, Kitty, is sadly recently deceased (on Father's Day). I work full time as a Marketing Analyst for a supply chain consulting firm. I don't even know what that means really! I have been here for 3 years and am thinking about a career change. SAHM is looking better and better. My husband owns his own landscaping business which has been both wonderful and horrible at the same time! My husband and I know each other for about 17 years now and we have been together for 12. We got married in September of 2010, just 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary! We got pregnant after only 2 months of trying and last December we were greeted by Ashlyn Marie Miller,

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and
