Dear Ashlyn, you have been the most amazing little baby I could have ever hoped for.  You are always so happy and fun to play with.  Thank you so much for smiling at me so much and making my life as a Mom so easy!  Now please stop saying Da Da and start saying Ma Ma!  Dear 4th of July, thanks for rocking!  Dear Dramatic Friends, please go away and leave me alone.  I just don't have time for your crap!  Dear Ted, I hope it makes you feel better to know that I would rather see you over Magic Mike.  Don't ask me why, just don't question it.  Dear Weight that I just can't seem to get rid of, would you please just do Mama a favor and leave.  I'm begging you!  Dear Saturday, I am really looking forward to you because you mean that I get to spend another uninterrupted day with my sweet little angel.  Please rock as much as 4th of July!  Dear New Followers, Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for following me!  I am always so excited to have new followers!  I love comments and I will always answer your comments.  Dear Best Friend, Thanks for being my best friend.  Thanks for always listening to me when I need to bitch about something or when I want to gush about my baby girl.  I can't wait for you to have a baby to gush about!  Dear Husband, I know it's been rough and I know we'll be fine.  Thanks for being patient.ļ»æ

  1. Thanks for stopping by my blog =]
It does get easier, i promise. It takes plenty of time {a few arguments}, & compromise. With my husband, I just realized that he isn't a baby person {which most men aren't} & had to accept the fact that I wasn't going to get the help I expected. Now that Caden is older I find him helping more. I also learned to approach a situation without making him feel like I was just nagging or complaining.
I hope this helped, I felt horrible when you commented and I couldn't respond right away. I had to actually sneak on right now to reply because i'm going out of town for the weekend. I just know how bad of a state I was in when I first had my son & his whole first year. My husband & I fought constantly..just don't give up.

    1. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! I appreciate the encouragement and advice. It has really been rough but it's nice to know that there are people out there who have gone through the same. I know that we will be just fine but I really appreciate any kind of support so thank you again! I hope you have a great weekend away! (something I think my husband and I desparately need)

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass...

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and ...

29 Week Bumpdate

The heart rate today was 160 and all is well. Little Man is still kicking away all the time!  He sleeps until late morning and then he's all over the place for the rest of the day.  It's fun but it's also uncomfortable sometimes. When I weighed myself on Sunday, which is when I usually do it to update my pregnancy app, I was only up 15lbs.  As of today, though, I am up 17lbs.  I feel like I am growing at warp speed but the doctor assures me that I am measuring just fine.  I do feel like some of the shirts I wore two weeks ago shouldn't be worn anymore though!  The bump is growing! I have noticed that I have been waking up with swollen ankles every morning despite sleeping with them elevated.  I know this has a lot to do with the weight gain since I had such a problem with it last time.  Other than that, the normal heartburn and backaches come and go and I'm crazy tired but I don't really have any other issues.  I don't ever ...
