So What Wednesday

This week, I'm saying so what if...
  • I was late for work this morning because I decided to crawl back into bed for ten more minutes of sleep after Daddy took Baby Girl to daycare.  It was totally worth it!
  • Baby Girl got her first tooth.  It's not like I'm excited or anything.
  • I blew up my Twitter account with tweets about America's Got Talent.  I don't really care that much I just like to blow it up every now and then because I forget about it!
  • I am really irritated that when I went to pick Baby Girl up from daycare yesterday, they had her laying on the floor where all of the little kids were running around.  She sticks her fingers in her mouth all the time.  Why would you put her on a dirty floor where a bunch of toddlers are running around?  Not to mention one almost stomped on her.  WTF?
  • My husband and I are so busy that we have no food in the house so I have to go to the grocery store on my lunch break.  We have to slow down!
  • I talk about a recipe and then I crave it until it's made.  Hence the chicken kabobs we had for dinner last night.
They rocked!

  • I have 19 followers now!!!!!
  • I have am continuing the countdown for Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2. 128 days to go. I am RIDICULOUSLY excited (and sad because I know the saga is ending).

What are you saying so what to this week?

  2. that is awesome your hubs took babygirl to daycare so you could get some extra sleep. What a good man!
Going to the grocery store during your lunch hour is one of life's secrets! You have time to yourself, the grocery shopping is done, and you don't have to waste your evenings or weekends going. The key is not forgetting everything in your work refrigerator!

    1. Yes I'm very lucky to have a morning person for a husband. And that's exactly what I do. And then I get home and yell at myself for leaving our food at work!

I work full time as a Marketing Analyst for a supply chain consulting firm. I don't even know what that means really! I have been here for 3 years and am thinking about a career change. SAHM is looking better and better. My husband owns his own landscaping business which has been both wonderful and horrible at the same time! My husband and I know each other for about 17 years now and we have been together for 12. We got married in September of 2010, just 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary! We got pregnant after only 2 months of trying and last December we were greeted by Ashlyn Marie Miller,...

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass...

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and ...
