Linking up with Adventures of Newlyweds for

Photobucket

Dear Baby Girl, I'm sorry that you're hurting right now but this not sleeping through the night stuff has to stop.  Teething sucks, I get it.  But not sleeping sucks just as much so let's work on that.  Oh and this new little attitude thing you have going on?  Yea we're going to have to squash that.

Dear Cracker Barrel, I had high hopes for you and you didn't disappoint.  I left your store with a much smaller back account but I got some really awesome Fall and Christmas things.  Too bad I have to return my owl lamp because it's missing the light.

Dear diet, so far so good. Let's keep it up.

Dear photographer, can I just have a preview of the pictures?  It's been almost two weeks and I am dying to see them!

Dear The Voice, another new favorite...

Dear Grey's Anatomy, I'm kind of disappointed with the first episode of the new season.  I was highly confused for most of the episode, wondering why you didn't tell me what happened with the plane crash.  Now I have to wait until next week to find out.  Oh and the death of Sloan...not cool.  I know he was leaving the show but why did it have to be so sad?

Dear right eye, would you please stop itching and watering.  I look like a joined the fight club and it's just not attractive.

Dear weekend, aside from some Sunday morning plans, we don't have much else to do with you.  I'm pretty excited to not have somewhere to go for a change.

Dear readers, have a great weekend!

  1. Hylands teething tablets were life savers for us when our little ones were teething. What also helped was frozen fruit in those little mesh net teething feeder thingies. Not sure what the proper name is!

Blog Commenting Challenge!

Linking up with Jenna's Journey  for the 3rd Annual Blog Commenting Challenge! Hi! I'm Vanessa! I live with my husband Bryan and my amazing 6 month old Ashlyn in Pennsylvania. I was born and raised here and love it very much! We have 2 pugs, Katie and Utley, one black lab, Camo and one cat, Joey. Our second cat, Kitty, is sadly recently deceased (on Father's Day). I work full time as a Marketing Analyst for a supply chain consulting firm. I don't even know what that means really! I have been here for 3 years and am thinking about a career change. SAHM is looking better and better. My husband owns his own landscaping business which has been both wonderful and horrible at the same time! My husband and I know each other for about 17 years now and we have been together for 12. We got married in September of 2010, just 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary! We got pregnant after only 2 months of trying and last December we were greeted by Ashlyn Marie Miller,

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and
