So What Wednesday

So What Wednesday
This week, I'm saying so what if...
  • I'm excited to be going to the doctor every two weeks now because it feels like the weeks will just fly by and Little Man will be here before I know it!
  • We found my replacement at work and now I can't wait to get the hell out of there!
  • I had to turn on my approval for comments because I was getting too many spam comments.
  • Baby Girl woke up at 12am screaming for me and I have no idea why.  I don't know if it was a nightmare or teething or what but it was crazy.
  • I didn't get much sleep because Baby Girl slept in bed with me (not a common occurrence).
  • My Mom got the invites for my baby shower and now I'm really excited about it!
  • Potty training lasted all of one day.  Now we are focused on getting rid of the paci.
  • Even though my husband got his Father's Day gift from me already, he still has one from Baby Girl and one from Little Man.
  • My Mom stole my Father's Day gift idea for my Dad and now I have to come up with another gift idea.  It will probably be a gift card, as usual.
  • Baby Girl's favorite song seems to be Stay by Rhianna.  Yes, she sings along to it.  Yes, it's absolutly adorable.
  • I usually have my ear buds in all day at work because I can't stand listening to some of the people I work with.
  • I can't wait to see my Little Man again on Sunday!  Hopefully he cooperates this time and we get some good pictures!

28 Weeks and feeling huge!

  1. Stopping by from the link up...

OMG, I just noticed our kids have the exact same birthday! Fun fun!

I was going to comment that my son woke up screaming last night as well. No idea why, but he was screaming his little head off! Luckily nursing him calmed him down, but we are weaning soon and I have no idea what I will do to calm him down in the middle of the night once he is weaned! Panic! Ha ha.

Blog Commenting Challenge!

Linking up with Jenna's Journey  for the 3rd Annual Blog Commenting Challenge! Hi! I'm Vanessa! I live with my husband Bryan and my amazing 6 month old Ashlyn in Pennsylvania. I was born and raised here and love it very much! We have 2 pugs, Katie and Utley, one black lab, Camo and one cat, Joey. Our second cat, Kitty, is sadly recently deceased (on Father's Day). I work full time as a Marketing Analyst for a supply chain consulting firm. I don't even know what that means really! I have been here for 3 years and am thinking about a career change. SAHM is looking better and better. My husband owns his own landscaping business which has been both wonderful and horrible at the same time! My husband and I know each other for about 17 years now and we have been together for 12. We got married in September of 2010, just 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary! We got pregnant after only 2 months of trying and last December we were greeted by Ashlyn Marie Miller,

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and
