So What Wednesday

So What Wednesday

This week, I'm saying so what if...
  • I am ready to get my Christmas decorations out and put my tree up now instead of after Thanksgiving.
  • I am even more in love with Baby Girl's first birthday outfit now that I have it.  It's just too cute.

  • Baby Girl's first birthday party is in 24 days and I haven't sent the invitations out yet.  Everything that could go wrong with them has gone wrong.  Hopefully they will go out today.
  • I got Just Dance 4 but haven't hooked the Wii up yet to play it.
  • I'm so lazy lately.  Might have something to do with the fact that I can't seem to get myself to bed before 11pm on any given night.
  • I am sad that Michaela was sent home on The Voice last night.  I really liked her.  Two of my favorites are still in it, though.
  • It's starting to get really cold and I still don't have a winter coat for Baby Girl.  I did order one, though, so hopefully it will arrive today.

  • I am actually dreading having to put said winter coat on Baby Girl.  It's hard enough strapping the kind into a car seat let alone doing it with a giant coat on her.
  • My Grandmother got a pacemaker.  She had it put in last Thursday and went on her already scheduled trip to Connecticut on Saturday.  She's one tough cookie.
  • I am continuing the countdown for Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2. Only, um, 2 days to go!! I am RIDICULOUSLY excited (and sad because I know the saga is ending).
  • I doubt very highly that I will even go see Breaking Dawn this weekend because I know it will be a Twi-Hard frenzy.  I think I can wait at least another week.

  1. I have people on my FB who already put their trees up! Lucky! I told Aaron if we had a house, it would be up since I'd have easier access to grabbing it, lol.

  2. My sister has her tree up already - and mine will go up next Friday.

That coat is adorable - but I know what you mean about bundling them up to strap them in. It cannot be comfortable for them.

I have bought my ticket for midnight! I'm sure I'll see it a few times, as the young girls seem to scream alot at the premiers.

  4. That jacket is adorable! We are close enough to our car from the front door that I'll wrap Mackenzie up in a blanket and carry her to the car. Then I'll put her coat on after we get where we are going.

  5. You so what Wednesday is the story of my life! I can totally relate! Especially about the jacket, car seat, and wanting to pull out the Christmas decorations!

I am a new follower from the blog hop. Excited to see more and hear how the 1st birthday went!

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass...

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and ...

29 Week Bumpdate

The heart rate today was 160 and all is well. Little Man is still kicking away all the time!  He sleeps until late morning and then he's all over the place for the rest of the day.  It's fun but it's also uncomfortable sometimes. When I weighed myself on Sunday, which is when I usually do it to update my pregnancy app, I was only up 15lbs.  As of today, though, I am up 17lbs.  I feel like I am growing at warp speed but the doctor assures me that I am measuring just fine.  I do feel like some of the shirts I wore two weeks ago shouldn't be worn anymore though!  The bump is growing! I have noticed that I have been waking up with swollen ankles every morning despite sleeping with them elevated.  I know this has a lot to do with the weight gain since I had such a problem with it last time.  Other than that, the normal heartburn and backaches come and go and I'm crazy tired but I don't really have any other issues.  I don't ever ...
