#11. Sunggle In

"Baby blankets make wonderful gifts so you might never have to buy one for your own baby. You should have four receiving blankets to lay the baby on wherever you put him down (except the crib -- never put blankets in the crib). Receiving blankets are usually a thin, soft flannel or knit. Have a couple of heavier blankets on hand to wrap your baby in colder weather or for outdoor walks."

I already know that I'm going to have more blankets than I know what to do with because they are all just so cute that I want to buy them all! Here are a few that I really like...

Receiving Blankets:

Pink Receiving Blankets - I think they could go with the Julia bedding I have picked out

Green Receiving Blankets - I think the neutral green and tan go perfect with the green and brown Elephant bedding I have picked!

I know that the bed sets come with some heavier blankets but I also know that I will need more blankets than that.

Pink Blanket - I love this pink blanket! It goes perfect with the quilting on the Julia set.

Ecru Blanket - This one doesn't really 'go' with the bedding I picked out but it sure is cute isn't it.

25 days until I will be able to register for my adorable baby items! I can't wait!

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son.
