Loving the Fall.  The cooler air, the changing leaves, the colorful decorations.  Pumpkin pie, sunflowers, cornstalks.  It's my favorite season.

Looking forward to the pumpkin funnel cake I will be eating this weekend at one of the many Fall festivals we are going to be attending this year.  I think we have one planned for every weekend in October!

Watching The Voice.  I am in love with the show and I have about four favorites now.  I would choose team Adam or team Blake.  I can't wait for Smash to start again too.

Counting calories for three weeks now.  I don't ever talk about my weight but I'm feeling good about this.  I've lost 7 lbs so far and I am hoping to continue the trend.  It helps that a friend and I are doing it together and for every 5 lbs we lose, we buy each other a fun gift.

Hoping we can get our house situation dealt with before we have another baby.  We have outgrown our home and we need to move.  We did have a 13 acre property in our horizon but that might not work out the way we want it to.

Awaiting Christmas!  I know everyone gets mad because the stores put the Christmas items out earlier and earlier each year but I love it!  Christmas is my favorite holiday.  I love the decorations and have already bought a few new items for this year.  I love buying/wrapping/giving gifts.  Trying to find the perfect gift is my ultimate Christmas goal each year.

Wanting another adorable little baby.  With the first birthday of our daughter quickly approaching, the baby fever is worse than ever!

Struggling with what to do for the first birthday.  We don't have the space in our home to have a party but there are a few friends and family members we would like to have present.  The space we were going to rent fell through so now we are back at square one.  Hoping we can find some space to rent soon.  It's only two months away!

Going pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month!

    1. My daily calorie limit is 1167. It's rough but I just make sure I eat the same kinds of foods all of the time and I almost never go over my limit. Loseit.com has worked well for me in the past.

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass...

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and ...

29 Week Bumpdate

The heart rate today was 160 and all is well. Little Man is still kicking away all the time!  He sleeps until late morning and then he's all over the place for the rest of the day.  It's fun but it's also uncomfortable sometimes. When I weighed myself on Sunday, which is when I usually do it to update my pregnancy app, I was only up 15lbs.  As of today, though, I am up 17lbs.  I feel like I am growing at warp speed but the doctor assures me that I am measuring just fine.  I do feel like some of the shirts I wore two weeks ago shouldn't be worn anymore though!  The bump is growing! I have noticed that I have been waking up with swollen ankles every morning despite sleeping with them elevated.  I know this has a lot to do with the weight gain since I had such a problem with it last time.  Other than that, the normal heartburn and backaches come and go and I'm crazy tired but I don't really have any other issues.  I don't ever ...
