Linking up with Adventures of Newlyweds for

Photobucket
Dear Baby Girl, thank you for giving the day care a hard time this week with your newly cut tooth and not me!  Sorry day care but I'll take her waking up screaming from naps over waking up screaming in the middle of the night any day.

Dear YoGo Frozen Yogurt, you and I are going to have a love/hate relationship.  While you are less calories than regular ice cream,  your toppings are not.  We will have to work on that.

Dear Sunday festival, you were canceled a few weeks ago so we're trying this again.  Your pumpkin funnel cake better not disappoint.

Dear pumpkins, I promise that we will get around to carving you this weekend sometime.  Or maybe next week.  Or maybe we will spare you the torture and leave you alone.  Probably not.  I want to roast pumpkin seeds.

Dear Scentsy warmer, I love you.  You make every room in my house smell like Fall.

Dear orange lights on my back deck, I love you too.  Your bright orange color makes me smile every time I see it.

Dear Grey's, MUCH better episode last night.  I'm beginning to like the show again.

Dear weekend, I know you're going to fly by just like you always do because we have packed so much into you.  Let's make the most of it.

Dear Ebates, I've decided to sign up for you again.  Since I do so much shopping online, you better be worth it.  (Yes I know, 'free' money is always worth it!)

Dear BMW, while I am so grateful that you replaced my broken cup holder, I am pissed about the price.  Does a cup holder really cost $170?  And does it really take you a whole hour ($100) to fix it?  I certainly hope nothing else EVER goes wrong with this vehicle.  Assholes.

Dear readers, have a great weekend!

Blog Commenting Challenge!

Linking up with Jenna's Journey  for the 3rd Annual Blog Commenting Challenge! Hi! I'm Vanessa! I live with my husband Bryan and my amazing 6 month old Ashlyn in Pennsylvania. I was born and raised here and love it very much! We have 2 pugs, Katie and Utley, one black lab, Camo and one cat, Joey. Our second cat, Kitty, is sadly recently deceased (on Father's Day). I work full time as a Marketing Analyst for a supply chain consulting firm. I don't even know what that means really! I have been here for 3 years and am thinking about a career change. SAHM is looking better and better. My husband owns his own landscaping business which has been both wonderful and horrible at the same time! My husband and I know each other for about 17 years now and we have been together for 12. We got married in September of 2010, just 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary! We got pregnant after only 2 months of trying and last December we were greeted by Ashlyn Marie Miller,...

17 Tips - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin

17 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy - #1 Take a Prenatal Vitamin Even when you're still trying to conceive, it's smart to start taking prenatal vitamins. Your baby's neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it's important you get essential nutrients, like folic acid, calcium, and iron, from the very start. Prenatal vitamins are available over the counter at most drug stores, or you can get them by prescription from your doctor. If taking them makes you feel queasy, try taking them at night or with a light snack. Chewing gum or sucking on hard candy afterward can help, too. It took me a little while to get into the habit of taking my prenatal vitamin. I wasn't used to taking anything daily since I had been off the pill for a few months. I finally got myself in the habit of taking it every morning. I just take an over the counter vitamin. It has the same nutrients as a doctor prescribed vitamin but is less hass...

HFMD

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. ( http://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/about/index.html) Are you kidding me? Blister-like sores in the mouth? Why do things like this even exist? What purpose does an illness like this that just torments little babies (and their parents) serve?  This stupid illness is currently 'running it's course' through my poor son. One week before his first birthday. Apparently it's 'going around' as the doctor so nicely explained.  Fortunately we only had one really bad day where he was not eating or drinking much and was just miserable. He was back to his usually happy self in no time even with blisters in his mouth. So this week, while my husband is away for work in Chicago and ...
